Join us in Atlanta for the 11th CIVSA Student Development Institute (SDI)! A one-of-a-kind program, this student-focused conference is the perfect place for your students to network with others, learn best practices from fellow students, and share their ideas and creative solutions!
In the world of information and visitor services, campus tours, and visit events, the CIVSA Student Development Institute is the place to be.
This year’s program will be held January 4-6, 2024 at the Hilton Atlanta.
Keynote speaker, Tom Krieglstein, will kick off the weekend with an engaging and interactive plenary session. Following Tom, attendees will choose their own Atlanta experience and visit the World of Coca-Cola*, College Football Hall of Fame*, or tour one of three college campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area. No matter which adventure you choose, there’s something to learn that you’ll be able to take back to your campus program.
Dad’s Garage, a local Atlanta improv group, will perform a private show for SDI attendees on Friday evening. Get ready for laughs, and learn some improv tips and tricks that you can use in your role!
Spend the rest of your weekend in great educational programming sessions and coordinated networking opportunities. Share your best practices and gain insight from others who understand the unique challenges of working in visitor services.
