Summer Series: “How to Coach”: Empowering Students to Train and Give Feedback

In our jobs, we are often doing a million different things all at once, so it can be amazingly helpful when your students can take on more responsibility to help you out. In this session, you will hear how St. Edward’s University trains their student leaders to be able to give feedback to their peers as they undergo the tour training process, and how the students take the lead in correcting mistakes. This session will also be a guided discussion to share best practices about how other institutions train their student leaders to train their peers, have difficult conversations, or take on more responsibility to free up your time!
