CIVSA Connections Small Group: Creating Guest Opportunity Without On-Campus Experiences

As we all continue to navigate the visit experience through COVID-19, some institutions will not offer any Fall Semester on-campus experiences to prospective visitors.

A decision like this can cause challenges OR create opportunity. We hope you can connect with fellow CIVSA members to learn from each other. Join a small group of fellow CIVSA members to discuss your institution’s plans without offering visits, tours, or events in Fall Semester. How are your institutions creating guest opportunity to learn about your school without coming onto your campus?

Although institutions might have to offer different plans due to location, university policies, or safety protocols, these discussions will be valuable to help gather ideas on visitor communication, random drop in visitors, creating new virtual visit ideas, and getting started on hopefully transitioning back to reopening campus visits.This is a great opportunity to collaborate with other higher education professionals, who specifically understand some of the unique situations associated with hosting and NOT hostingvisitors on campus.
