Why Cleveland State Lets a Student Build the Whole App
August 25 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT
FreeCleveland State hands its entire orientation app to a student to build. On purpose.
Here’s why that’s smart: orientation is where belonging starts for new students, so who better to build that first experience than someone who just lived it?
Alicia Andrews turned the build into a real project a student owns: something to design, solve, and point to in a job interview. The payoff runs both ways. The student gains experience that matters, and the app keeps evolving to fit how students actually think.
