Discover how Cal State San Bernardino re-strategized their underrepresented student programs to align with the admissions cycle and meet the demands of students at critical points of their admissions process. Our office thought about the collective of programs, which have already been offered at CSUSB and served specifically Black students, Latinx students, and Native American students; how we could retool the programs and present these programs differently that made more sense for students. Not an easy sell for campus constituents but the results were great and students appreciated meeting them were they were at. Learn how we used campus partners, community partners, and high school leaders to create momentum for our redefined programs and helped build a more sensible collection of underrepresented programming.
