Summer Series: Engaging Parents and Counselors in the Recruitment and Matriculation Process

Higher education options are endless and can be overwhelming, especially for first generation students or students who have several options to consider. In an effort to minimize indecision and to maximize understanding of the admissions process, Texas A&M University has implemented successful recruitment strategies directed towards parents and counselors. We strive to engage with these two unique groups through targeted campus events by focusing on college exploration, history and traditions, student success, safety, and community.
