I am new to CIVSA, so if this question has been asked before, I apologize.
We are a small public liberal arts university. As such, we must compete
with small private schools. Because of this, we try to offer prospective
students the same things that private schools offer, one of those being
overnight visits.
For as long as I have been employed here, we have offered overnight visits
Mondays through Thursdays, hosted by our Student Ambassadors. We have
never had any issues, however, certain people have begun to express concern
over this program. I was just wondering if any other schools out there
offer overnight visits for prospective students, and, if you do, have you
run into any problems? We have a general code of conduct contract we make
the visitor sign before they arrive, but does anyone have anything else
they give the students?
Personally, I like the ability to let a prospective student stay overnight,
so any advice, concerns, stories, etc. you all might have would be greatly
appreciated.

"That a seminary was once located on the grounds of what would become
Wrigley Field is always cited as more than appropriate. Or perhaps not,
considering there isn't a sporting venue in America where more prayers have
gone unanswered" -- Kevin Kaduk
