[civsa] On Campus Events

Kari,

We only have our group together for our opening, which only lasts about thirty minutes. After the opening, we use much smaller classroom spaces on campus for our faculty to cover each major and some out-of-the-classroom experiences. I have attached our schedule which will hopefully make more sense.

In the past when we haven't had a large opening space available, we would split the group into two and use smaller spaces for the opening and mirror the program in each room.

Hello!

So I plan out large on campus open houses. We have run into a problem for Spring Preview Day. All of the large spaces were taken away from us today and the event is a month away. Do any of you break large groups into much smaller groups? Or have ideas for me?

Being a small school with few large spaces available, we often run into this program. We?ve often split a group into 2-3 groups that rotate through different rooms to experience different parts of the event simultaneously. We use student Ambassadors to assist with the transitions and it seems to work pretty well.
