[civsa] Online event registration systems and walkie-talkies for tours

Good afternoon CIVSA,
I have a few questions I am hoping you can help me with:


1.      We are hoping to eventually be able to move forward in using an online registration system for our larger events-perhaps through using ipads or a barcode system where we could email a code to guests before hand and they could just scan it upon arrival to the event.  Do any of your schools already use these types of systems? If so and the systems aren't homegrown, can you please provide some information about the product(s) you use?


2.      Do any of you all send your tour guides out with walkie-talkies to be able to get in touch with them if a latecomer arrives after the tour has left? We'd like to be able to catch latecomers up with the tour if necessary, but depending on the size/majors of any given tour, they may alter their routes, so we can't just estimate. If you have a system that works great for you, I'd appreciate the info.
