Hello All,
At Texas Wesleyan we welcome them with stoles (I am actually going to pick them up today :)). Mine receive them for getting their point totals which are also required to stay within the program. I initially went for a medal but our Provost said that medals were only for certain organizations through the president and cords were for academics so the stoles are for organizations.
I shot for the moon with the medals and landed on stoles, Maybe that will work for you too!
Rams Up!

Subject: [civsa] Graduation Cords/Stoles
Hello CIVSA Members,
For those of you who give graduation cords and/or stoles to your ambassadors, do they receive them just for being in your ambassador program or is their an academic distinction associated with it as well?
My ambassadors have been asking for graduation cords/stoles for several years and my VP and the Dean of Students will not allow it. Their reason is that cords and stoles are for academic distinction and not for club/student involvement.
I would greatly appreciate any help, advice, input and guidance that you can give me in my quest to get my ambassadors request approved.
Thanks for your time and assistance. Have a good day!
