Hi all,

We absolutely recognize our Student Ambassadors with a Stole of Gratitude.
Our program has a rich history at Portland State and we engage our
Ambassador alumni to develop our foundation and scholarship accounts. We
have had a team from 15-35 and we say once an Ambassador always an
Ambassador.

I would encourage you to speak with your VP and dean about the cultivation
of strong alumni affinity with your group while they are still on
campus/leaving for commencement. I also coordinate our commencement
activities and many other affinity/interest groups on campus have their own
stoles/cords that honor them. They just aren't allowed to use Green, Gold,
or Silver because we use them for our Latin Honor distinction. At first,
there was a lot of hesitancy around granting other groups cords/stoles, but
the response since allowing has been overwhelmingly positive.

Hope that helps, I also attached an image of our stole we give the
Ambassadors.
Best,
Nicholas
