[civsa] Questions for Visitor Centers separated from admissions

Good morning CIVSA!
I hope you are having a terrific Thursday!

A few questions: For those of you who have a unique Visitor Center (in a separate location from the Admission office):


1.      What are the main functions of your Visitor Center?

2.      What are your hours of operation?

3.      How many campus tours do you provide each day (times of day, weekday/weekends)

4.      How do you all handle parking for your guests?  If guests must pay, how much is the charge? If you provide free parking, do you have a special parking lot or do you provide permits?  If permits, do you give it to them the day of the visit, or do you email it to them in advance?

5.      How many staff members work in the Visitor Center and what are their responsibilities?

6.      Describe the partnership (if any) between your Visitor Center and your admission office.
