I am happy to Tiffany. So far the only response has been from Sheila Siler.

Thanks, Barb

Hi Barbara,

Would you mind sharing any information that you receive that may be sent to you directly and not the entire list?... just asking b/c I know sometimes the personal preference is to reply to the individual instead, but I am interested in the feedback. You can remove names/contact information if needed, just interested in responses.

Thanks,
Tiffany

We are in the process of hiring our student ambassador pool and have reached a situation we haven't worked through before. We have candidates in the pool that we believe have the potential be very effective ambassadors for the college who identify as transgender or gender non-binary. Part of the job description for ambassadors states that they are responsible for hosting prospective students overnight when they visit. We have successfully navigated hosting prospective students who identify as transgender. However, we are unsure of how to communicate to prospective students that their host identifies as transgender or gender non-binary. Has anyone successfully navigated this situation? If anyone has any policies/procedures that you would be willing to share, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Barb
