[civsa] Cups vs. disposable water bottles

The age old question for schools. Our sustainability committee has agreed to help pay for an alternative option to water bottles, but I'm struggling on if a stadium cup with a lid and straw is a good option, old school promo water bottle... I don't have an unlimited budget, but I don't want to buy something that people won't use.

Has anyone moved successfully away from the disposable water bottles and what was your solution?
