Hi everyone,
For newsletters, I have one of my students send out the bi-weekly staff newsletter on the weeks we do not have meetings and then send out the staff meeting notes on the other. I find students enjoy the information more so when it comes from their peer, who also will infuse memes and funny videos at the end of each so that the staff looks forward to receiving them every Monday. The consistency of these emails always arriving Monday afternoon also gives students an idea when to be prepared to receive this information. In addition, I know our office has added little pop quizzes to the end of these correspondences so that it allows you to gauge how many students are actually reading the emails. Winners of these pop quizzes can receive swag and/or funny money which is apart of our incentive system.
If I have any gravely important information that needs to go out, I will then step in and send out an email to the students and require them to confirm via email that they have read the information. I started off the semester by setting this expectation for them so that they know what I am looking for as it is apart of their contract.

Anyone have any advice on how you report visits? Currently we use Hobsons Radius to report, and I do a monthly report on admin term, admit type, lifecycle at the time and whether or not they were scheduled. I want to do more for reporting, but I am not creative.
Also, we are moving to adding a calendar function for setting up a visit. This was done through code (let me know if you have questions) but we are still in the launch phase. Anyone with experience used this before?

I'm looking for ideas for getting information to student ambassadors. Sending out emails with bullet points just doesn't seem to be working anymore and meetings rarely happen to get everyone on the same page. Therefore, I'm looking for creative or fun ideas for a newsletter or some sort of fun email template that gives students important information or updates that they'll actually read. Any suggestions?
