[civsa] Walkie Talkie Recommendations

Good morning,

Our campus is an urban sprawl and our tour guides take walkie talkies with them on their tours for safety and for our convenience in the tour center. We have 12 that are super old and starting to fail miserably the second they get out the door.

I was wondering if anyone out their uses walkie talkies (or something else), and if so what brand do you have, and what is the mile radius they reach?
