[civsa] Regional Recruitment Programs

Hi Scott!

The University of Toledo hosts Admitted Student Receptions regionally in various cities around Ohio and Michigan, but also holds one of these receptions in Toledo on campus for local students.  The rest of the events are held in the territory manager's major cities (Dayton, Cincinnati, Akron, Cleveland, Detroit, Monroe, etc.).  These events are well attended but the Toledo area event is typically larger than any of the others and has a good show rate. The program on campus has the same format as the regional events. Hello CIVSA Land!

For those of you who help with Regional Recruitment Programs, how many of your schools host programs in the same city/area your university is located in?  For example, the U goes out of state for our annual Bringing The U To You programs, but we also host identical programs in the Salt Lake area.  Two are within a 45 minute drive to campus, and two are literally 10-15 minutes away from us.

I'm curious to see if any of you host programs like these in your local areas despite the proximity to campus?
