[civsa] Academic department tours

Hello! I’m curious about how your schools handle tours of specific academic departments.

We’re trying to figure the best way to do this for our school (we have 20 departments in 10 different buildings and about 8,000 students). Currently we have student tour guides lead visitors to several different departments and talk a little bit about each one. But that lacks the detail that faculty or staff from each department would provide. Some of our departments provide their own in-depth tours, but those students don’t necessarily have any contact with Admissions. Is there a happy medium?
