[civsa] Road Trips

Hi Rob. We have “Columbia Sessions” in cities all over the country, during Fall and Spring. There are usually 2 Senior Admissions Officers who give a presentation with very strong visuals. We also have a “host” attend, usually a regional recruiter or other staff member. They help set up, check people in and answer questions. The presentation is very visual and lasts about 90 minutes max. We also show a few videos. Afterwards we have a Q&A and there’s usually time for people to chat one-on-one if they don’t want to speak up in the crowd. We invite all of our inquiries, applicants and admitted students from about a 200-mile radius.

Subject: [civsa] Road Trips

Does anyone plan “Road Recruiting Trips” across your state or region?  If so, would you mind sharing your agenda of what takes place during the event?  I know these events are called something different at each university.  To explain, this would be an event where you and other members from your university go to a different city and host a recruiting event at a venue in that location.
