Hi Edwin, Tarrick, and other CIVSA folks!

The University of Kentucky Visitor Center sends the following items to students/families after a tour is scheduled:

-       Upon registering: Confirmation email with parking directions, etc.

-       14 days prior: Mailed letter with visit details well as details about Lexington, KY’s Visitors Center should they want to explore town while they are here. The mailed letter includes a printed parking/information document (attached).

-       4 days prior: Reminder email four days prior to the tour with parking directions and instructions to reply to the email to cancel the tour

-       1 day before: Confirmation call by VC student staff to make sure they are still coming, remind them to dress for the weather, and encourage them to arrive a few minutes early.

We also send automated emails in the event a student cancels ahead of time, does not show up, or does attend the tour. Every student visitor also receives a personalized, hand-written postcard by mail after the tour.
