Hi Scott,

Our student workers are called Student Ambassadors and are all trained to give tours and work in the Admission Office.  Within the office some have specific duties (ex: 1 is assigned to assist the counselor who works to get applications completed, 5 assist with data entry, 3 are trained to cover the front desk and 2 are Lead Ambassadors ).  Leads assist me directly with coordinating work schedules, securing ambassadors for special request tours, and with events.  In the past we have also had a student ambassador assigned to assist with social media efforts and international recruitment efforts.

All ambassadors are paid the same hourly rate ($7.95).  Leads also receive an additional $300 stipend per year ($100/term) for their additional responsibilities.

There is not an opportunity for raises.

Can you all do me a quick solid and let me know how much you pay your student staff?  If you have both tour guides and other student workers, if you can delineate that too please?  Are there any grounds for raises?
