Hi Eric:
We use ChatterVox systems for our large tour groups – usually around $250 apiece for a full unit pack (more or less depending upon from you purchase). Occasionally older units have started to give a little feedback, though that’s usually the user’s fault. They’re also not the greatest if it’s particularly windy. Otherwise, they have been effective and pretty reliable. We just reordered a few more. Once or twice over the years we’ve needed to replace a headset (cheapest part) – but that’s mainly due to improper handling/storage/carelessness.

Subject: [civsa] Voice Amplifier Recommendations

Hello Civsa friends,

I have been given the go ahead to purchase voice amplifiers for my ambassadors. I am looking for recommendations from those of you who use them. Any information you can provide to me would be greatly appreciated.

Also, for those of you who do use them; any tips on how to best train the ambassadors to use them effectively?

Happy holidays!
