Hi Catie,


Attached is the survey we use. Sorry if it is hard to read. I've added the questions below. It is a paper survey that we give to guests when they check-in. It's a half page with mostly open ended questions. For the open ended questions, we categorize them as best as possible. The tour guide typically is the #1 favorite thing about the tour which we share with our guides to emphasize their important. Walking and the weather is usually the least favorite which we have not much control over. Once we've entered them into our database, we give the surveys back to the tour guide so that they can review the comments. Some folks will write full comments on the back.


We will modify it for events. We tell them at the beginning that we have a small giveaway for everyone who fills out the survey so we are getting anywhere between a 70-90% response rate per month.

We are looking at our event and our individual visit survey process.   Does anyone have samples of surveys that they use and feel work well?  If so, would you be willing to share.



Also, do you do a paper evaluation method or are your surveys completed by the students online?
