[civsa] Overnight Visits-Policies regarding Minors

Hello Civsa!

We have a few questions on standard practice/liability for overnight visits:


1)      If you have overnight visits/student hosts, do the visitors receive their own rooms or do they stay in the room of the host?

2)      When you have unaccompanied minors on overnights or tours, do they have to have two student hosts, or are there instances when they are accompanied by just one student employee?

Any discussions you've had on campus regarding Title IX, supervision of minors, and liability regarding overnight visitors would be helpful.
