[civsa] Final Meal/Senior Sendoff for Students

Hello everyone!

Here at the UA, the Ambassadors have their end of year banquet, where we give out major awards like Ambassador of the Year, Most Involved, etc.  And then funny superlatives.  The best part is when the graduating Ambassadors stand up and share their "senior stories."  Many of which are hilarious anecdotes, some are heartwarming.  It's a great time to really close out the year.  We've had many different buffets over the years... Italian, Mexican, greek...

The Office of Admissions funds the event, we have had it on many random days, but lately it has been on the eve of "Dead Day" (Reading Day)

Hello everyone!

I'm in the process of planning our first ever "Final Luncheon/Senior Sendoff" for our Student Ambassadors, and since I'm starting from scratch, I'd love to hear what other schools are doing.

If you hold any kind of final meal or Senior Sendoff for your Ambassadors/Tour Guides/Student Workers, could you pass along some information about your event? Do you get senior gifts? Do slideshows? Give awards of any kind? Is it on-campus or off-campus? Food advice? Are there days or times that work best for your students?

Any advice would be appreciated!
