Happy Monday Everyone,

Visitor and Parent Services is moving into a new space this fall and
creating an all new visit experience for our guests to the Berkeley campus.
We are very excited at this opportunity and really look forward to
engaging with our guests on a much higher level.

For those of you whose visitors centers are named after donors, I have a
few questions. We are exploring naming opportunities as we move forward:

o Did renovations or entirely new centers accompany the naming?

o Where there other giving opportunities beside the center naming, and
if so, were they successful?

o Were corporate prospects included along with individual prospects?

o If you're able to share, what size gift resulted in the naming?

o How would you summarize the donor(s) motives for making their gift?

o Any best practices or lessons learned to share?

If you wouldn't mind just responding to me that would be great rather than
burden the entire group. Or you can always give me a call if you prefer at
(510) 643-8888. Also, if there is someone else on your campus that is
better suited to respond, I would love to chat with them.

Thanks so much, I look forward to hearing from you.
