Hi Patrick,

We also use the Hobsons Event Suite here at Georgia Tech. We implemented is about 1.5 years ago after using Fire Engine Red for 2 years. I have been pretty pleased with its interface and the way you can queue responses to students and families. I am the primary user for events and it was pretty easy to set up and maintain. We have recently begun partnering with other parts of campus such as our individual majors or colleges that host events to allow them to integrate into our system. That has been nice in that we have one unified event calendar for prospective families where they can register for many options in campus programming.

Hi All,

This is Patrick Lorenzo from Saint Mary's College of California. We're a small, liberal arts, Catholic based institution.

We are thinking about adding the Events suite to Hobson's (our current CRM) in order to streamline our process for event management, campus visits and data management. I'm curious to hear from users if you've found it a worthwhile investment.

For those who use something else, I'd like to hear about it and your experience. In the not too distant future, we're looking at Slate so if folks have insight about that, I'm happy to gather input about that tool as well.

Sincerely,

Patrick
