We use Hobsons Connect with the Events and Trips suite at Sam Houston State. The event suite is used to register and check students in for tours as well as our campus preview day. We are currently working to add our summer camps to the event tab. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to answer them for you. I worked for the Visitor Center prior to Hobsons and it's been the best thing for our on campus events.

Hi All,
This is Patrick Lorenzo from Saint Mary's College of California. We're a small, liberal arts, Catholic based institution.
We are thinking about adding the Events suite to Hobson's (our current CRM) in order to streamline our process for event management, campus visits and data management. I'm curious to hear from users if you've found it a worthwhile investment.
For those who use something else, I'd like to hear about it and your experience. In the not too distant future, we're looking at Slate so if folks have insight about that, I'm happy to gather input about that tool as well.
