[civsa] student worker program structure

Hello everyone!

We have recently moved to a new student worker program model. Where
previously we had three separate groups of student workers in our
Admissions office (Tour Guides, Operations Assistants, and Phone
Ambassadors, who did evening calling), now we have one unified Admission
Ambassador program. We had hoped to cross-train most of our Ambassadors on
running the Welcome Desk, campus tours, assisting with events, phone
calling, and various operations duties. Naturally, we are still working
out the kinks, so I thought I'd ask how you all are running your student
worker programs. Specifically:

1. What is the basic structure of your student worker programs, how many
students do you hire, and what are they all trained to do?
2. How, and how often, do you structure training?
3. What is the supervisory structure? Do they all report to one person?
Who is doing the day-to-day oversight of all the students?
4. Who does the scheduling, and how do you make sure all the office needs
are met given the students' challenging class schedules?

Thanks for any information you're willing to share!

Hope you're all having a very productive fall recruitment season!
