At UNC, we use Fire Engine Red (www.fire-engine-red.com<http://www.fire-engine-red.com>) as our vendor for our event registration.  They offer an array of products but we primarily use them for their Event module.  We've used this tool for about 3 years, and it is pretty good.  For the most part it is customizeble, and it's a flat rate regardless of how many events or tours you use it for. It isn't perfect though (but I doubt anything would be) and I'd be happy to talk to you more over the phone about the pros and cons if you'd like!  Let me know...

I have seen some event registration software suggestions from time to time so apologies for re-asking this question that others may have already asked.

We are looking for ideas.  Parameters look something like this:

-Stand-alone event registration (not a full CRM)
-<$10,000

Bonus:  works with Banner; has some dynamic ‘if, then’ capabilities.

We run a homegrown system that has way too many moving parts for our student staff and IT people to manage without headaches.
Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.  If you have vendor contacts, even better (we’ll throw you the credit if we contact them).
