[civsa] Travel Costs/Scholarships for Visitors

Greetings CIVSA members!

Does anyone offer to reimburse or provide travel assistance for students to have the ability to visit campus? If you do, I'd love to know the following:


*         What kind of accommodations do you provide?

o    Air travel? Hotel costs (or overnight with a student on campus)? Meals? Parts of those? All of the above?

*         If you provide vouchers for travel, how much you offer per student/family?

o    Do you only provide costs for the student? Family members as well?

*         What is your targeted audience? Admits only?

*         At what point in the year do you offer travel assistance?

*         Do you provide assistance for international students?

*         Are there any stipulations for their travel?

o    ie: they must deposit? Do they contribute to the travel initially to show a level of commitment/seriousness?
