[civsa] tours of on-campus housing

At the University of Texas at Arlington, we work with our Housing Ambassadors to give Housing Tours 3 times per day - 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.  They start in our welcome center with a short video about 2 minutes and then the Housing Ambassador takes them from there.  We manage the reservations and confirmations.  To give some reference, we offer daily campus tours M - F at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm (these do not include Housing) and a joint tour on Saturday (10:30am) where housing admbassadors meet the tours in the facilities being shown.

We work hard to build the relationship with the campus tour guides and housing ambassadors.  We have a joint retreat in the fall to help both groups get to know each other since they both utilize the welcome center for tours.  We have been pleased with this model.
