[civsa] Leadership Training Activities

For leadership training, we came up with a game called "The Amazing Minute to Win it Race". Our leaders are broken up into teams and given clues that direct them to all over the campus. Once they reach each location they have to work together to complete a Minute to Win it game to receive the next clue.

This game includes elements of historical facts in the clues, resources through the locations picked and teambuilding through the games and competition aspects. It's been a huge hit and we've even started using the game in some of our campus visit events.

Hello fellow CIVSA-ers!

We are looking to have a Leadership Training Day for some of our new students on campus this fall to help them learn about resources on campus and how to be a student leader. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for activities related to leadership, getting to know the history and resources of the university, etc. that you've found to be useful? I'm hoping to come up with some ideas for ice-breakers to help these students get to know one another and other activities that will be both beneficial and and fun for the students involved. Any input would be appreciated!
