[civsa] no-show rates for programs

Same here Amy. We definitely track attendance rates to help us plan for events in future years and to help us know whether certain marketing strategies are working or not. Like IUPUI, this year, we have had about 70% attendance rates (30% no-show rate)...

Amy,
I live by tracking show rates and it is expected in any updates I provide to our leadership team.  There was a time when we didn't have the historical data and it was a wild game of guessing - no fun and very costly at times.  I have even started making note of the weather on event days where we have a major dip or spike in attendance.   I'm always amazed at how consistent and helpful the information is.  On average, we have about a 30% no show rate.  Hope this helps.

I wanted to ask if anyone has a sense of what their average "no show" rate is for programs that guests schedule for in advance.  Do you track what percentage of your registered folks don't show up?  If so, what is that number?
