We had in the past held our fall open houses in early october but we never
had a huge turnout. We find that late Oct/Early Nov gets us the most
participants. I think early dates are just weird for some students because
some are still taking their SATs/ACTs, soccer and cross country might be in
season and so students cant take time off the weekends because they have
games/meets. And for others they are really not serious about their college
search until the end of September . At least that is what we found out when
we surveyed our students a few years ago!
