SUMMARY:Summer Series: How to Successfully Manage Group Tours without Crying Real Tears
DESCRIPTION:This year\, we implemented a new system for scheduling\, managing\, and executing group tours. From groups of 8 to groups of 150\, we’ve been able to accommodate a school or community group visit (almost) every weekday without going completely insane. In this session\, we will share some of the tools we use to support our group visit program\, including how we automate the scheduling process and email confirmations and reminders. We will also discuss how we run the visits on a daily basis (at the same time as our daily tours) utilizing student staff for additional support.
