DESCRIPTION:At CIVSA in 2019\, I sat in a session about safety and the dangers that had happened on campus. The speaker explained her situation at her institution and was frustrated as expected. This provoked me to take a look at our safety and see that it was below par. I then worked to create an Emergency Preparedness/ Crisis Intervention Plan that we could use in our office.
