[civsa] Video Monitor

Good morning, happy Tuesday!

We have several monitors in our lobby that loop quite a few things (the news, department/university announcements, etc.) but one of my favorite things on loop is our SAMbassador GIFs! Each SAMbassador records a GIF that’s a few seconds long and we play those on loop in the lobby on 2 TVs.

It’s such a fun idea that I just wanted to share.

Hi Michelle, I agree the conference was AWESOME!  We use a power point in our Welcome Center that has video embedded in it.  The video and slides consist of alumni and student life.  We are also able to customize the slides on the power point with our prospective students names and where they are from.  The students that visit love to take a picture next to their slide.  We also have an Instagram frame that we have hanging in our lobby complete with photo props for students to pose behind.  They love that as well.
