Hello,

We give them Tour Guide or Admission Intern stoles & in addition I write them a personalized letter of recommendation, and a short letter of encouragement (for those dark days of job hunting). For my senior tour guides who have done 7 semesters of tour guiding (the maximum they could possibly do) I also take them out for lunch.

If I have a coordinator or tour guide leader graduating I also get them a binder, or business cards or something related to their intended field (No point getting them office stuff if they’re going to be a doctor, firefighter or work for the National Park Service…)

We give them something like a Hanover cup or alumni shirt and have caricatures done. I send pictures and info to the artists who draws them for me.   I try to include something funny from their time as an ambassador or incorporate their next step after Hanover.   They love them and many have told me they display them in their offices
