[civsa] CIVSA 18 inquiry

Hello Matthew (and CIVSA),

Here at the University of Northern Colorado, we plan on sending 2-4 students to SDI. I put together a short qualtrics application for the students who are interested in attending. I will attached a PDF version (some of the logic will not appear in this version, but you will get a feel for the questions we asked).

After the application deadline has passed, our student supervisors will have a meeting to review and select the students that will be attending the conference. Here is some criteria we will be comparing:

*         Length of service and leadership of the student.

*         Conference proposal idea(s).

*         Why they want to attend the conference.

*         Year in school (would prefer not to send seniors).

*         Whether they want to pursue a career in higher education.

In preparation for this year's conference at The Ohio State University, MTSU is in the process of selecting students from the tour program to participate. This will be the first time MTSU brings students and we are curious to know how you all went about selecting students?
