We just purchased and installed a custom made newspaper vending box from GoPlastics.  Extremely reasonable and easy to deal with.  As a matter of fact, the box was so inexpensive, the shipping was almost more than the box itself.  www.goplastics.com<http://www.goplastics.com>

We had a custom built wooden box at our old building that our facilities team constructed, but this is standalone, they Incorporated our custom graphics and even built us our own information card return box inside a second bay of the vending box.  I would highly recommend you look into it.
