[civsa] Bus Visit Materials

Currently, we provide one university branded bag that includes:

- a Counselor Packet (this goes into detail about admissions, includes a map and a brochure on scholarship opportunities)
- a "Welcome to UTA" letter with their admission counselor's business card attached
- enough pens or pencils for each student in the group (pens for HS, pencils for MS and Elementary)
- one current university pennant

Each group also receives a box with either enough viewbooks (HS) or early-college planning guides (MS and Elem) for every student in the group. While the viewbooks are 60+ pages and go into detail about multiple aspects of the university, the early-college planning guides are much smaller, in a tri-fold brochure format, and contain simpler content which we find is much more appropriate for a younger audience. For elementary school groups, we also include a scavenger hunt that can be completed while on the tour.

Hello all!

What materials do you provide for large groups that come to your campus (we call them bus visits here) via high school or organization?  Do you offer different materials for visitors of different ages (one set of materials for seniors as opposed to sophomores and younger).  Right now, we are providing the same materials for all visitors: bags with view book, a mascot cutout, scholarship information, maps, etc.  Wondering what others do to either save on cost or appropriately provide information to the respective age group.
