We have had a lot of success hosting these receptions at the homes of current parents.  It's a great way to show the school's community in secondary and tertiary markets.

At Portland State, this year we've tried something new, hosting receptions at Airbnb's. All of the staff that attends the out of state reception also stays at the location. Typically partners from Financial Aid and housing attend this receptions.

We've been successful at hosting 4 of them this way, this year. Capacity depends on territory, which then determines the location, if an Airbnb will work.
