We have an "Academic and Student Life Fair" at all of our accepted student events where a faculty member from each major and staff members from many of our campus offices staff an information table.  A number of our faculty have expressed dissatisfaction with the way we display signs for majors and offices (we have a wooden dowel and base for each sign which allows us to hang the sign about 3' above the table).  They want something a little less wobbly.  I'm hoping that other schools that run a similar event might share signage solutions that have worked.  There's a lot of options out there in trade show supply catalogs, but I'm looking for something attractive, stable, and affordable as I'll need to buy 70+.
