Hi Aundy,
At LIU Post, we don't provide treats to visitors; just coffee, tea and waterbottles. For general visits, we don't provide meal options. However, during peak visit weeks (such as Presidents week) we offer meal vouchers and options to have lunch with current students. During these times, we provide meal vouchers to eat at restaurants in our student union. We have a set limit (usually between $10-$12 per person). Our dining team is good with customer service, and doesn't make a big deal if they go a few dollars over.

We also provide visitors the option of having lunch on campus (either with or without a student ambassador). We provide our guests with a visitor badge/lanyard that serves as their nametag, bookstore discount coupon, and meal coupon. We have also partnered with a local restaurant that is a school favorite. They offer our school's student discount to visitors with their guest badge as well.
In addition, we serve coffee, tea, bottled water, and cans of soda in our office for visitors. We also serve fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for visitors to have something to snack on between appointments.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!
I have a quick question: Do you feed your daily visitors lunch? If so, do you pay completely or do you offer vouchers? If not, what other ways do you "wow" your visitors other than providing them with lunch? Do you provide snacks of any sort when they arrive?

Aundy, We do offer our visitors the option to go to lunch, if their visit schedule is adjacent to or overlaps with lunchtime. We give them a meal ticket to our buffet-style dining hall. Our food service provider gives us a discounted rate. Hope this helps!

Good morning!
We have a very large wall in our conference room that we?d like to enliven
with a photo display of alums, our Rhodes Scholars, Watson fellows, and
current students and faculty who are working on interesting projects. We
use our conference room for the majority of our information sessions. Does
anyone have a display like this in their conference room or Admission
office/Visitor Center that they would be willing to share with us?

Hey CIVSA,
I would like to design a handful of geofilters to be used on Snapchat
during Preview Day events next year.
If your university uses Snapchat Geofilters:
1. Does your marketing and design office oversee that, or does your
admissions/event office?
2. Who designs your filters? Do you pay a student to get creative, or
do you assign the project to a staff member?
Are there other creative ways to get your brand out there while students
are snapping pictures of themselves on campus?

Does anyone have a plan in place to respond to feedback that you receive from surveys? We are trying to develop a plan for an appropriate follow-up to students when they indicate that they "might apply". We want to help them decide without creating any awkwardness. Does anyone else have a specific plan for this? If so, would you be willing to share your ideas?
