Stanford University

  *   Institution Demographics (Private or Public/Current Enrollment)
Private; 7000 UG, 9000 full-time Grad; ~16,000 total

  *   Amount of Tour Guides or Ambassadors
Academic year ~70-100; Summer 4-8 full-time; ~20 as available

  *   Paid or Volunteer
Paid

  *   Daily/Group Tour Operations (Ex: Monday-Friday at 10 am/2pm)
We off from 9-16 different tours on weekdays, and from 5-6 each day on weekends:

Daily (7 days):
  General 1-hour walking tours open to all (no reg necessary): 11:00am, 3:15pm
  Golf Cart Tours (1 hour; 5 people; 2-3 times/day): 11:30, 1:00, 3:30

Weekdays (and some Saturdays):
  Prospective student tours (with info session): Mon-Fri, once or twice a day 9:30, 1:30
  Group Tours at 9:45, 1:15, 3:45

Mondays and Fridays:
  Specialty Tours (3 options on Mon and Fri, all from 12:15-1:15, between our two info sessions)

·       Engineering Quad tour

·       Humanities & Arts tour

·       Athletics & Recreational Opportunities tour
  Student Forum – casual group discussion for prospective students with 3-5 current guides (no parents, no staff)
