- Amount of Tour Guides or Ambassadors: approximately 100 (8 Ambassador Council / 18 daily / 60 events / 12 grad)
- Paid or Volunteer: Paid (varies from $9.00 to $10.00 based upon year in school - either through our budget or college work study
- Daily/Group Tour Operations (Ex: Monday-Friday at 10 am/2pm)
Tours - 10 am, Noon or 2 pm weekly Mondays through Friday during academic year
Tours - 10 am, Noon or 2 pm weekly Mondays through Thursdays mid-May through mid-August
Group Tours scheduled during one of the weekly tour times usually unless by special request
Individual information sessions with a staff member are typically scheduled 1/2 hour before the tour or directly following the tours.

Hello all and Happy Friday! I had a quick question on how you host prospective students for residence hall tours. At Iowa, we use actual student rooms and are looking at times to offer them. We currently show rooms in two halls (that are connected) and will be adding a third this fall. We currently have two times for tours but with multiple halls are looking at options.
Do you offer one tour time daily, two, other? We are trying to take a look at bettering our process so I am looking for pros/cons of the different options.
