[civsa] Fwd: Walkie Talkies - for tour and events

We rent 2-way radios from:

We only use the walkie talkies for University Open House which is once a
year and this company has worked out well for us. They ship the radios and
batteries to us.  We charge them overnight, use them for the event and then
ship everything back on the next Monday.


The radius of our campus spans over a mile and this is a good way to keep
us all connected so multiple people can hear needed information
simultaneously.  We still use our phones for calls and texts to individuals.
