Good morning!

If you are a Slate user and have an extra moment, can you fill out the following questions?  We are in the process of researching CRMs and this will help me in my research.


1.)    Are you under Admissions?
Yes

2.)    If not, what department are you housed under? (Texas A&M University, we are under the Division of Marketing and Communications)

3.)    Do you use Slate "Events" for your visitor registration form?

            Yes

4.)    Is Slate your primary resource in scheduling prospective student appointments for academic departments and colleges?

            No, because we are a small private college, we schedule departmental meetings through our outlook calendar.  There is a section of SLATE, called interviews, that our counselors have utilized to schedule individual  meetings with prospective students during their travel season.  They found it to be quite resourceful.  You can set up the interview to email you when someone new registers for a time block.

5.)    If so, how many departments use Slate to schedule appointments with prospective students?

6.)    Approximately how long did it take you to build out your Slate events platform?

            I didn't work on building out the events platform, but do create all of the events in SLATE and also create and manage the communication attached to each event.

7.)    With your experience using Slate, do you have any extra information or advice during this transition/process?

            I have enjoyed using SLATE.  This is the 3rd CRM I have worked with through Florida Southern and feel that SLATE is the easiest of the 3 for event management.  All of our daily visits in addition to our over 25 prospective student events are housed through SLATE.  Additionally, our recruiting staff sets up all their high school visits, college fairs, and travel interviews through the event module as well.
