[civsa] Looking for Panel Participants for CIVSA SDI

Hello!

The student leaders for my tour program are interested in submitting a program proposal for a CIVSA SDI but they want to do a panel format. The idea is to have the student leads of 3-4 institutions discuss how they are set-up, how they get selected for the position, the training that is provided, and other details about program structure and operations. They want to include institutions that have a different organization structure than what we have to make the panel applicable for anyone attending SDI.

Below is a description of our program and structure. If you are taking student leads to SDI (we really want the panel to be made up of leads only) and they are interested in participating. Please let me know (lahoti.10 at osu.edu<mailto:lahoti.10 at osu.edu>). Proposals are due on November 1st, so we're under a tight deadline.

Institution size and type: 46,000 undergrads, public, research, state institution,
Institution location: Columbus, OH; true campus feel-not an urban campus, but very close to a large city
Program responsibilities: tour guides only, this particular team is not responsible for other recruitment efforts
Program size: 87 tour guides
Paid/unpaid: all tour guides and student leads (we call them captains) are paid
Structure: we have 3 student captains that serve for at least one year each, and one professional staff member. The student captains are all equals-there is no executive board set-up.
